With over three decades of pioneering work in the tourism industry, Sonja Gottlebe is a seasoned expert committed to sustainable and responsible tourism. Her journey began as the General Manager of Boogie Pilgrim in Madagascar, where she managed a team of 65 and spearheaded the development of eco-friendly tourism products that highlighted the unique beauty of Madagascar on a global stage.

Throughout her career, she has built and managed several successful tourism ventures, including the Bushhouse ecolodge and Tsara Camp, the first tented camp in southern Madagascar.

Her dedication to sustainable tourism has earned her prestigious awards and recognition, including the Sustainable Tourism Award from the German Travel Association.

She is passionate about creating tourism experiences that respect and preserve our natural and cultural heritage.
